An online scripting language for teaching combinatorial scientific computing.

Abstract

At Friedrich Schiller University Jena we are currently developing a collection of interactive software modules called EXPLAIN that assist in teaching combinatorial scientific computing to students in the classroom. This extended abstract proposes a scripting language on top of the Javascript library D3 (Data-Driven Documents) for implementing a new EXPLAIN module.
